SIMAs Starting Area

Hello,

After reading the FAQs and the final rules , I still have a question about SIMAs :
1. What is the edge of the table means? Is this means our SIMA's orthographic projection can be above the distance between CALCULATION ZONE SUPPORT and the starting zone of SIMAs(about18mm)?

The rules state that the 22mm boarder can be used as an Extension of the starting zone. See E7b in the first bulletpoint of constraints.

The vertical projection of the sima might include some parts of the boarder, which could also be used for the remote computing device. It is up to you to make sure that all measurements are within the ruleset. We will not allow a bigger SIMA starting area because the remote computing device is too big to allow the overhang.
